Running your phone software on your desktop is becoming more and more popular. This can be particularly useful if space is a premium and you can't accomodate both a phone and a computer on your desk. Your AmbitionPBX comes with desktop software with which you can make and receive calls through your computer's desktop. All you need is a microphone and a headset, just like the one you are probably already using for your mobile phone or for your video conferences. Simply plug in your headset and microphone and you're good to make your calls without needing a physical phone
Many of us are on the move these days and prefer to simply carry a mobile phone. Because your AmbitionPBX talks to your mobile phone through an App you can install it on any phone. So you don't need a separate phone for work. Your customers only need to have the office number to get through to you. And because you have configured your AmbitionPBX with Time Conditions, your mobile is not ringing when the office is closed - unless you want it to. Calls can be transferred to you easily by a receptionist and you are only using your mobile data allowance as you would do with other Apps.
